Johnathan Oscar Bryant

Johnathan Oscar Bryant was the son of Johnathan Alexander Bryant and Sarah Emiline "Emma" (Gray) Bryant. He was born February 15, 1891 [GZ1] in Oklahoma [1]. He went by the name Oscar Bryant.


His wife Dessie Lee Wells [GZ1] was born Abt. 1906 [7].

Lacy Louis WELLS [GZ1] was born 27 Oct 1868 in Tulsa, OK. He died 19 Nov 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Lacy married Nora Ellen LESSLY on 27 Dec 1893 in Texas ?.

Nora Ellen LESSLY [GZ1] was born 13 Jan 1873 in Callaway County, MO. She died 23 Apr 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Nora married Lacy Louis WELLS on 27 Dec 1893 in Texas ?.

1918 Telegram - Oscar Bryant Wounded in Action

It's hard to imagine receiving a telegram on November 27, stating that your son had been wounded in action back on July 3rd, and then they say degree undetermined.
